Our holiday season altar showcases a variety of symbols from different traditions and faiths around the world.

As Unitarian Universalists, we intentionally incorporate a variety of beliefs and traditions in our regular worship services.

As we explore and learn from other faith traditions, we always strive to do so respectfully and without cultural appropriation. Holidays that we commonly touch on include Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter and Summer Solstices, the Vernal and Autumnal Equinoxes, and more.

Celebrations and traditions that are more unique to the U.U. faith include the following:

  • Water, Fire or Flower Communions
  • Blessing of the Animals
  • Coming of Age and Bridging Ceremonies
  • Child Dedications
  • Membership Book signing
  • Justice Sunday

With every holiday and tradition that we take part in or learn about together, we hope to gain a greater and more inspired understanding of both ourselves and the world at large.
